Biography
Alex Metcalf is a writer and producer working in film and television. He began as a feature writer before leaving the industry to run a charter school for several years. He returned after an agent advised him to pursue television projects.
His credits include the teleplay for an episode of MINDHUNTER (2019) and writing for Sharp Objects (2018). He has also written episodes of UnREAL (2015–2018) and Kingdom (2014–2016), developed and written for The Loudest Voice (2019), and contributed to Bodkin (2024). Earlier work includes the screenplay for God's Pocket (2014). He has additional producer credits on several of these series.
