Alexa Demie is an American actress and singer. She was born on 11 December 1990 in Los Angeles, California, and raised in the city by her mother, a make-up artist.
Demie began performing in her senior year of high school. She appeared in early guest roles on series including Ray Donovan (2013) and Love (2016), and made her feature film debut in Brigsby Bear (2017). She gained wider attention for supporting parts in mid90s (2018) and Waves (2019).
She is best known for portraying Maddy Perez in the HBO series Euphoria (2019–2026). Other credits include The OA (2016), Mainstream (2020) and The Idol (2023).
