Biography
Alexander England is an Australian actor. Born on 24 July 1986 in Albury, New South Wales, he trained at the Victorian College of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts in 2009.
He first gained notice for playing Tony Greig in the 2012 miniseries Howzat! Kerry Packer's War. England appeared as Ankor in Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant (2017) and as Mnevis in Gods of Egypt (2016). Other film roles include Little Monsters (2019) and Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan (2019). On television he has played roles in Black Snow (2022–2023), The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (2023) and Nautilus (2024).
England received AACTA Award nominations for Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story (2013) and Black Snow, and a Logie Award nomination for the latter.
