Biography
Alexander Hodge is an Australian actor. He was born and raised in Sydney and trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York before relocating to Los Angeles after graduating in 2016.
Hodge is best known for playing Andrew Tan on the HBO series Insecure (2018–2020), appearing as a recurring character in season 3 before becoming a series regular. He has also appeared in Black Lightning (2021) as Philky, Resort to Love (2021), and as Todd in the 2023 film Joy Ride.
Other credits include roles in Wellmania (2023), Which Brings Me to You (2023), and the series Grosse Pointe Garden Society (2025).
