Biography
Alexis Bledel, also credited as Kimberly Alexis Bledel, is an American actress and model. She was born on 16 September 1981 in Houston, Texas.
She began her career as a model while still in high school and later studied film at New York University. Bledel made her television debut as Rory Gilmore in the series Gilmore Girls (2000–2007). Her feature film roles include Winnie Foster in Tuck Everlasting (2002), Becky in Sin City (2005), and Lena Kaligaris in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) and its sequel (2008).
She has appeared in recurring roles in Mad Men (2012) and The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025) as Emily Malek, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
