Biography
Ali Greer is an American film and television editor. She is credited as editor on the HBO series Hacks (2021) and Rooster (2026).
Greer edited multiple seasons of Portlandia (2015–2018), where she also directed one episode, and worked on Barry (2018), The Nowhere Inn (2020), Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. (2022), Swarm (2023) and My Dead Friend Zoe (2024). She began her career in commercials before moving into television editing.
She won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series for her work on Barry (2022) and received a nomination for Hacks (2021). Additional credits include Dream Corp LLC, Black Monday and Schmigadoon! (2021).
