Biography
Alice Nutter (born Anne Holden, 10 July 1962) is an English writer for theatre, radio and television. She was born in Burnley, Lancashire, and first came to prominence as a vocalist and percussionist with the anarchist band Chumbawamba from 1982 until her departure in 2006.
She began her writing career with stage plays including Foxes (2006) and Where's Vietnam? (2008), and radio dramas such as Snow in July (2008). Her television credits include episodes of Jimmy McGovern's The Street (2007), Accused (2010), The Mill (2014), The White Princess (2017) and Trust (2018); she co-created and co-wrote the 2023 series The Full Monty.
