Biography
Alison Wright is an English actress. She was born on 12 July 1976 in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. She trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group in New York City, and began her career with stage work off Broadway.
Wright is best known for playing Martha Hanson in the FX series The Americans (2013–2017), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Her other notable roles include Ruth Wardell in Snowpiercer (2020–2024), Marjorie in Sneaky Pete (2015–2019), Justine in The Accountant (2016), and the voice of MU/TH/UR in Predator: Badlands (2025). She also voiced Justine in The Accountant 2 (2025).
