Biography
Allison Schroeder is an American screenwriter. She studied economics at Stanford University and earned an MFA in film production from the University of Southern California. While at high school in Florida she interned at NASA, where her grandparents had worked.
She co-wrote the screenplay for Hidden Figures (2016) with Theodore Melfi. Her other credits include the screenplays for Christopher Robin (2018) and Heart of Stone (2023), additional screenplay material for Frozen II (2019), and the story for A Minecraft Movie (2025). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for Hidden Figures.
