Biography
Alysia Joy Powell is an American actress. She was born on 18 December 1967 in Los Angeles, California.
Powell is known for her supporting roles in film and television. She played Fern in the 2023 comedy No Hard Feelings, Mrs Winters in the 2021 film Judas and the Black Messiah, and Wyndolyn Capers in the series Orange Is the New Black (2019). Other credits include appearances in Desperate Housewives (2004), Everybody Hates Chris (2005), The Shield (2002), Scrubs (2001) and The Sitter (2011).
She has also worked in theatre, winning the Manhattan Monologue Slam twice, and has performed in stage productions including Who Is a Virtuous Woman.
