Biography
Amber Smith is an American actress and former model. Born on 2 March 1971 in Tampa, Florida, she began modelling at the age of 16 and worked in Paris for several years. Her resemblance to Rita Hayworth drew attention in the fashion industry and later informed some of her acting roles.
Smith made her film debut in Faithful (1996) and appeared in The Funeral (1996) and The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996). She played Susan Lefferts in L.A. Confidential (1997) and had roles in Private Parts (1997) and American Beauty (1999). Other credits include How High (2001), The Rules of Attraction (2002) and Dead End (2003). She has also appeared in television series such as Friends and starred in Sin City Diaries.
