Biography
Amine Bouhafa is a French-Tunisian composer of film and television scores. Born on 10 July 1986 in Zarzis, he began playing the piano at the age of three and studied at the Tunis Conservatory before graduating from the Paris Conservatory in orchestration, classical harmony and composition.
He is known for his scores for Timbuktu (2014), for which he received the César for Best Original Music in 2015, The Man Who Sold His Skin (2021), Four Daughters (2023) and The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025). He was appointed Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2016 and has collaborated repeatedly with director Kaouther Ben Hania.
