Biography
Amy Trigg is a British actress and writer. She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2013 as the first wheelchair user to complete a performance course there. She grew up in Witham, Essex, and was born with spina bifida.
Trigg is known for her stage work, including the role of Agnes in the musical The Little Big Things (2023–2024), for which she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2024. Her other theatre credits include productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company, such as Measure for Measure (2019) and The Taming of the Shrew (2019), and earlier roles in The Glass Menagerie (2016) and The Who's Tommy (2017).
On screen, she has appeared as Claire in the series Such Brave Girls (2023–2025) and as a writer on the series Toxic Town (2025). Her other television and film credits include Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023), Feel Good (2020), Unforgotten (2023), Father Brown (2024) and Grace (2025). She is also a playwright, with her debut full-length play Reasons You Should(n't) Love Me premiering in 2021.
