Biography

Andrew Airlie is a Scottish-born Canadian actor. Born on 18 September 1961 in Glasgow, he has appeared in numerous film and television productions since the early 1990s.

His television credits include regular roles as Mr Oliver, the father of the protagonist, in the series Reaper (2007–2009) and as Mission Control Commander Mike Goss in Defying Gravity (2009). He has also made guest appearances in series such as Monk, Smallville, Stargate SG-1, The X-Files and Fringe.

On film, Airlie is known for playing Michael Corman in Final Destination 2 (2003) and Carrick Grey in the Fifty Shades trilogy: Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), Fifty Shades Darker (2017) and Fifty Shades Freed (2018).
