Biography

Andrew Colville is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Harvard College with an AB in English literature and later earned an M.Phil. in political philosophy from the University of Cambridge. He joined the writing staff of the AMC drama Mad Men for its third season in 2009.

Colville has written episodes for series including The 4400, Threshold, Nikita, Graceland, TURN: Washington's Spies (where he also served as executive producer across all four seasons) and Star Trek: Discovery. He was a writer and executive producer on the first season of Severance (2022) and is a writer and executive producer on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

With the Mad Men writing staff he won a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Drama Series. For Severance he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, shared WGA Awards for Best Drama Series and Best New Series, and shared a Peabody Award.
