Biography
Andrew McDonnell is a British cinematographer and director, also credited as Andrew J. McDonnell and Andy McDonnell. He has worked extensively in British television, serving as director of photography on series including Humans (2015), Victoria (2016), Happy Valley (2014–2023) and Sex Education (2019–2023).
McDonnell directed six episodes of Shameless (2011–2012). He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
