Biography
Andrew S. Karsch is an American film producer. He trained at the American Film Institute Center for Advanced Film Studies, where he produced the short Nights at O'Rear's, which premiered at the New York Film Festival in 1981. He later founded Longfellow Pictures and worked as a producer and executive at United Artists from 1985 to 1994.
Karsch's credits include The Prince of Tides (1991), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture; The Emperor's Club (2002); Conviction (2010); and Moneyball (2011) as executive producer, which was also nominated for Best Picture. In 2010 he founded Insurgent Media, through which he has produced documentaries including Beware of Mr. Baker (2012), Blank City (2010) and Mission Blue (2014).
