Biography
Angela Kang is an American television writer and producer. She was born on 23 March 1976 in Irvine, California. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre from Occidental College in 1998 and a Master of Fine Arts in screenwriting from the University of Southern California.
Her early television work included an internship on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. She was a staff writer on the unaired NBC series Day One and then on the FX series Terriers (2010), for which she wrote two episodes.
Kang joined the writing staff of The Walking Dead in 2011. She was promoted through producer ranks and served as showrunner for seasons nine to eleven (2018–2022). She has also been an executive producer on the spin-off series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
