Biography
Angie Dickinson is an American actress. Born Angeline Brown on 30 September 1931 in Kulm, North Dakota, she began her career in television anthology series in the 1950s and made her film debut in 1954.
Her breakthrough came with the role of Feathers in the Western Rio Bravo (1959). She appeared as Beatrice Ocean in Ocean's Eleven (1960) and later starred as Sergeant Suzanne "Pepper" Anderson in the television series Police Woman (1974–1978). Other notable film roles include Point Blank (1967) and Dressed to Kill (1980). Dickinson received a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year for Rio Bravo and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama for Police Woman. Her final screen appearance was in the 2009 television film Mending Fences.
