Biography
Anita Bryant (also credited as Anita Jane Bryant) was an American actress and singer. She appeared as herself in the documentary Roger & Me (1989) and in archive footage in Milk (2008). Her other screen credits include a voice narration role in the short film Drugs Are Like That (1969) and soundtrack contributions to various television series.
Born on 25 March 1940 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Bryant was a 1958 Miss Oklahoma winner and had several chart hits as a singer in the early 1960s. She served as a brand ambassador for the Florida Citrus Commission from 1969 to 1980. She died on 16 December 2024 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
