Biography
Anna Ridley is a British production designer, art director, director and producer. She joined the BBC Television Design Department shortly after graduating with a B.A. in Art and Design.
Her television credits include production design on episodes of Doctor Who (1963) in 1977, as well as work on series such as The Little Vampire (1986–1987), Rentaghost (1977) and The Liver Birds. She served as art director on the feature film Chariots of Fire (1981).
Later in her career Ridley worked as an independent director and producer, notably bringing artists into broadcast television through her involvement with the Artist Placement Group. She has also lectured and served on festival juries.
