Biography

Anna Terrazas is a Mexican costume designer. She studied art and design in London and fashion in New York before returning to Mexico, where she trained under a theatre costume designer. Her first feature as costume designer was Déficit (2007), directed by and starring Gael García Bernal.

Terrazas has collaborated frequently with leading Mexican filmmakers. Her credits include Roma (2018) for Alfonso Cuarón, Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths (2022) for Alejandro González Iñárritu, Spectre (2015, Mexico unit) for Sam Mendes, and Pedro Páramo (2024). She also designed costumes for the HBO series The Deuce (2017–2018) and Ari Aster’s Eddington (2025). She has won two Ariel Awards for best costume design, for Bardo and Pedro Páramo.
