Biography

Anne Pritchard was a Canadian production designer, art director and set decorator. Born in 1935 in Stratford, Ontario, she worked on numerous feature films and received several awards for her art direction and production design.

She is credited as production designer on Atlantic City (1980), for which she won a Genie Award. Other notable credits include The Art of War (2000), Femme Fatale (2002), Snake Eyes (1998), Affliction (1998), The Covenant (2006), Laurence Anyways (2012) and The Trotsky (2010). She also won Etrog Awards for The Act of the Heart (1970) and The Far Shore (1976), a further Genie Award for Joshua Then and Now (1985), and a Jutra Award for Laurence Anyways (2012). She died in 2025.
