Biography
Annie Mumolo is an American actress, screenwriter, comedian and producer. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in history and trained with the improvisational comedy troupe The Groundlings.
She is best known for co-writing the 2011 film Bridesmaids with Kristen Wiig, for which she received Academy Award and BAFTA nominations for Best Original Screenplay. Mumolo and Wiig later co-wrote, co-produced and starred in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021). Her acting credits include Joy Ride (2023) as Mary Sullivan, The Idea of You (2024) as Tracy, and the series Rooster (2026) as Cristle.
