Biography
Annika Summerson is a cinematographer. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, she trained at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK, where her graduation film Until The River Runs Red (directed by Paul Wright) won the BAFTA for Best Short Film.
She is based in North London and works internationally in drama, commercials and music videos. Summerson is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC). Her credits include Postcards from London (2018), Await Further Instructions (2018), Mogul Mowgli (2020), Censor (2021), Ludwig (2024) and Baby Reindeer (2024).
She received the NFTS Sue Gibson Cinematography Award for her work on Mogul Mowgli, which also won the FIPRESCI prize at the Berlinale in 2020.
