Biography
Anthony LaPaglia is an Australian actor. He was born on 31 January 1959 in Adelaide, South Australia.
He played the role of Leon Zat in the 2001 Australian film Lantana, for which he received an AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. LaPaglia is also known for his performance as Jack Malone in the television series Without a Trace (2002–2009), for which he won a Golden Globe Award in 2004. His other screen credits include The Client (1994), Road to Perdition (2002) and voice roles in the Happy Feet films (2006, 2011).
On stage, LaPaglia won a Tony Award for his performance in the 1997 Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. He has also appeared as Simon Moon in the sitcom Frasier (2000–2004), winning a Primetime Emmy Award.
