Biography
Anthony Skene (1924–2000) was a British television writer. He contributed scripts to several British series from the late 1960s onwards, working primarily in mystery, thriller and drama formats.
Skene wrote three episodes of the cult series The Prisoner (1967): "Dance of the Dead", "Many Happy Returns" and "A. B. and C.". His other credits include episodes of Journey to the Unknown (1968), Special Branch (1969–1973), Upstairs, Downstairs (1972–1973) and Thriller (1973), as well as later work on series such as Wilde Alliance (1978) and adaptations for The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984).
