Biography
Antonia Van Drimmelen is a British film and television editor. Born in 1963 in Surrey, England, she began her career in the editorial department on features including Thelma & Louise (1991) and progressed through associate and assistant editor roles on films such as The First Wives Club (1996) and Wit (2001).
She received her first major editing credits on Shaft (2000) and the HBO miniseries Angels in America (2003), for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing. Subsequent work includes Closer (2004), Notes on a Scandal (2006), Charlie Wilson's War (2007) and Into the Storm (2009). She has frequently collaborated with editor John Bloom.
