Biography
Arabella Weir (born 6 December 1957) is an American-born British comedian, actress and writer. She gained prominence playing various characters, including Insecure Woman, in the BBC sketch series The Fast Show (1994–2014).
Weir studied drama at Middlesex Polytechnic. Her other television roles include appearances in Posh Nosh (2003), Two Doors Down (2013–) and Skins (2007), and she played Mme. de Caillavet in the film Colette (2018). She has written books including the international bestseller Does My Bum Look Big in This? (1998) and was awarded an MBE for services to the arts and young people.
