Biography
Arly Jover, also credited as Araceli Jover, is a Spanish actress. She was born on 2 February 1971 in Melilla, Spain.
Jover began her career as a dancer, training in New York after winning a scholarship at the age of 15. She transitioned to acting in the mid-1990s. Her first screen roles included an episode of the television series Women: Stories of Passion and appearances in the films Tango (1994) and The Ballad of Johnny-Jane (1995). She made her American film debut as Mercury in Blade (1998).
She has since appeared in films including Vampires: Los Muertos (2002), Empire of the Wolves (2005), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) and Haute Cuisine (2012), as well as the series Sense8 (2015). After nearly two decades in the United States, she moved to France, where she has continued to work in film and television.
