Biography
Ashley Park is an American actress and musician. She was born on 6 June 1991 in Glendale, California, and grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She trained at the University of Michigan, graduating with a BFA in musical theatre in 2013.
Park originated the role of Gretchen Wieners in the Broadway musical Mean Girls (2018), receiving a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her other stage work includes Tuptim in the 2015 Broadway revival of The King and I and MwE in the off-Broadway musical KPOP. On screen she is known for the role of Mindy Chen in the Netflix series Emily in Paris (2020–present) and for playing Audrey in the 2023 film Joy Ride.
