Biography
Ashley Thomas, also known by his stage name Bashy, is a British actor and rapper. He trained at the BRIT School for Performing Arts in London and began his screen career in independent films including Shank (2010) and 4.3.2.1. (2010).
His television roles include appearances in Black Mirror (2011), Top Boy (2013–2019), The Night Of (2016), Them (2021), Great Expectations (2023) and The Serpent Queen (2024). In 2025 he played Dr Alex Anderson in the Netflix series Hostage. As a musician he released the album Being Poor is Expensive in 2024, which won two MOBO Awards.
