Biography
Audrey Fisher is an American costume designer. Born in Germany to Californians living abroad, she grew up in Los Angeles. After graduating from Occidental College, she earned an M.A. in Performance Studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, specialising in costume. She began her career in theatre and opera, working in New York and later in Graz, Stuttgart and Leipzig.
Fisher moved back to Los Angeles in the late 1990s and worked as resident assistant costume designer at the Center Theatre Group. She assisted on films including We Are Marshall and Milk, and on the series That '70s Show. Her first major television design credit was HBO's True Blood, for which she designed all seven seasons. Subsequent credits include the first two seasons of Barry (2018–2019), Girlboss, the first two seasons of The Man in the High Castle, Destroyer (2018), Kate (2021) and Love & Death (2023). She has been a member of the Costume Designers Guild Local 892 since 2000.
