Biography
Avant Strangel is an American actor. He has been based in Paris since 2015 and trained at Boston University. He is also credited as Avant Aaloki-Strangel.
His screen credits include the role of Detective Peter in Father Joe (2026), Mike Todd in the French science-fiction series Missions (2017–2019), Solomon Burke in the short film Make It Soul (2018), and Sidney Bechet in La Garçonne (2020). Other appearances encompass Kill Ben Lyk (2018), Dogman (2023), Emily in Paris (2020 and 2024), The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (2023), Elyas (2024) and FBI: International (2025). He has worked as a voice actor and received a César nomination for his voice-over performance in Make It Soul.
Strangel is also a musician and competitive fencer.
