Biography
Badja Djola, born Bernard Bradley, was an American actor. He was born on 9 April 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, and died on 8 January 2005 in Los Angeles, California.
Djola's first major film role was as "Half Dead" Johnson in Penitentiary (1979). He appeared in Mississippi Burning (1988) as Agent Monk, The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988), A Rage in Harlem (1991), The Last Boy Scout (1991), The Hurricane (1999) and other films. His television credits include episodes of The X-Files (as Napoleon "Neech" Manley), ER and NYPD Blue. He also performed in theatre productions.
