Biography
Barbara Brown (18 October 1901 – 7 July 1975) was an American actress. Born in Los Angeles, California, she appeared in supporting roles in numerous Hollywood films of the 1940s and 1950s, often portraying matriarchs or society women.
Her credits include You Were Never Lovelier (1942) as Delfina Acuña, an uncredited role in Mildred Pierce (1945), The Beast with Five Fingers (1947) as Mrs. Miller, Born Yesterday (1950) as Mrs. Hedges, and Jack and the Beanstalk (1952) as Mrs. Strong. She also featured in several Ma and Pa Kettle comedies.
