Biography
Barbara Durkin is an English actress. She trained at the Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre and made her screen debut in the 1987 film Wish You Were Here as Valerie.
She is known for her role as Susan in the BBC sitcom I'm Alan Partridge (1997), appearing in six episodes. Other television credits include My Parents Are Aliens (1999–2005) as Sophie Johnson, Midsomer Murders (2003) as Linda Tyrell, Brass Eye (1997) in multiple roles, Boon (1987–1989) as Glynis, and Roger Roger (1998–1999) as Tina. She also appeared in The Counselor (2013) as a waitress.
Her career spanned from 1987 to 2014, with appearances in series such as The Bill, Knowing Me, Knowing You... with Alan Partridge and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
