Biography
Barbie Ferreira is an American actress and model. Born Barbara Seppe Ferreira on 14 December 1996 in New York City, she is of Brazilian descent and was raised in Queens and later Maywood, New Jersey. She began her career as a teenager by submitting modelling photographs to an American Apparel casting call and went on to model for brands including Aerie, Adidas, H&M and Target.
Ferreira made her acting debut in the HBO series Divorce (2016) and rose to prominence playing Kat Hernandez in the first two seasons of the HBO series Euphoria (2019–2022). She has since appeared in films including Unpregnant (2020), Nope (2022), House of Spoils (2024) and Bob Trevino Likes It (2024). She left Euphoria after the second season following a mutual decision with the production to pursue other roles.
