Biography
Barry Josephson is an American film and television producer. He graduated from American University in Washington DC in 1978 after attending the McBurney School in New York City. He began his career in entertainment as a music manager and worked in production roles at companies including Landers/Roberts Productions and Silver Pictures before joining Columbia Pictures.
Josephson served as vice president and then president of production at Columbia Pictures from 1991 to 1997. He later founded Josephson Entertainment and has produced films including Enchanted (2007) and its sequel Disenchanted (2022), The Ladykillers (2004), Hide and Seek (2005), Aliens in the Attic (2009), Life as We Know It (2010) and Dirty Grandpa (2016). His television credits include executive producer on the series Bones (2005–2017).
