Biography
Barry Pearl, also credited as Barry Lee Pearl, is an American character actor. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he trained at Carnegie Mellon University and began his professional career on Broadway in 1961, replacing the original actor as Randolph McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie.
He is best known for playing Doody, one of the T-Birds, in the 1978 film Grease. He later appeared as Stan Weaver in the 2016 television special Grease Live. Pearl has had guest roles in series including House (2009), Criminal Minds (2008), ER and Baywatch, and played Professor Tinkerputt in Barney's Imagination Island (1994) and related productions.
