Biography
Bechir Sylvain is a Haitian-American actor, writer, director and producer. Born on 16 September 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts, he studied drama at Southern Methodist University and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. He has a background in theatre, with credits including productions at the Arizona Theater Company and a Best Actor Obie Award for his performance in The Royale.
Sylvain is known for recurring and guest roles in series including BMF (as Glock), Diarra From Detroit (as Roman), Black Summer, Claws, Better Call Saul, Chicago P.D., This Is Us and S.W.A.T.. His film work includes Life After Beth (2014) and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025), in which he plays LeClerc. He appears as Sanford in the 2026 series Wonder Man.
