Biography
Benjamin Kračun is a Scottish cinematographer. Born in May 1981, he studied at Edinburgh Napier University and the National Film and Television School.
He is known for his work on Promising Young Woman (2020) and The Substance (2024). The latter earned him the European Film Award for Best Cinematographer. He won the British Independent Film Award for Best Cinematography for Beats (2019).
Kračun is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and was invited to join the Cinematographers branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in June 2023. Other credits include Beast (2017), Encounter (2021) and Hyena (2014).
