Biography
Benoît Régent was a French actor. He trained at the Cours Périmony and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris under Antoine Vitez and Jean-Paul Roussillon. He began his career in the theatre, appearing in productions including Peer Gynt directed by Patrice Chéreau.
Régent appeared in numerous films, including Subway (1985), 'Round Midnight (1986), Bunker Palace Hotel (1989) and Dangerous Moves (1984), for which he received a César nomination for best male newcomer. He played Olivier in Three Colors: Blue (1993) and reprised the role in Three Colors: Red (1994). He died in 1994.
