Biography
Bernie Sanders is an American politician who has appeared as himself in several documentaries. Born on 8 September 1941 in Brooklyn, New York City, he served as mayor of Burlington, Vermont, from 1981 to 1989 and has represented the state in the US Congress since 1991, first in the House and then as senator from 2007.
His film credits include appearances in Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story (2009) and Fahrenheit 11/9 (2018). He is also featured in 13th (2016) and other series and films, often in archive footage.
