Biography
Betsy Brandt is an American actress. She is best known for playing Marie Schrader in the crime drama series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), for which she received three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations as part of the cast, winning one.
Brandt was born on 14 March 1973 in Bay City, Michigan. She earned a BFA in acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and an MFA from Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training, and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
She has had recurring and guest roles in series including ER, NCIS, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She starred as Heather Hughes in the sitcom Life in Pieces (2015–2019) and reprised the role of Marie Schrader in the Better Call Saul series finale (2022).
