Biography
Bianca Lawson, also credited as Bianca Jasmine Lawson, is an American actress born on 20 March 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of actor Richard Lawson and Denise Gordy, and a great-niece of Motown founder Berry Gordy.
Lawson began acting as a child, appearing in commercials, and trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She studied film and psychology at the University of Southern California after attending Marymount High School. Her early television work includes a role in the 1994 pilot of My So-Called Life and a main cast part in Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993–1994).
She has had regular roles in Goode Behavior (1996–1997), Pretty Little Liars (2010–2012) and Rogue (2013–2016), and recurring parts in series including Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–1998), Dawson's Creek (1998–1999), The Vampire Diaries (2009–2014), Teen Wolf (2011–2014) and Queen Sugar (2016–2022).
