Biography
Bob Nickman is an American comedian, actor, television writer and producer. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he performed stand-up comedy for much of the 1980s before moving into television.
His writing credits include episodes of Roseanne (1995–1997), The Drew Carey Show (1997–1998), Mad About You (1999), Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000), According to Jim (2002–2006), Big Day (2007), Rita Rocks (2008–2009), Maron (2016) and Stan Against Evil (2017). He also served in producing roles on several of these series, including as supervising producer on Freaks and Geeks and executive producer on According to Jim.
Nickman appeared as an actor in four episodes of Roseanne (1994–1995), an episode of Designing Women (1990), and the films Shakes the Clown (1991) and Crossing the Bridge (1992).
