Biography
Bodil Kjærhauge is a Danish film and television editor. She was born on 16 August 1969 in Hammershøj, Denmark. After training as an architect and graduating from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 1996, she worked in planning and television before entering film post-production in 2000 as an assistant editor at Zentropa. She has been freelance since 2003.
Her early credits include first assistant editor on Dogville (2003) and assistant editor on Manderlay (2005) and The Boss of It All (2006). She edited episodes of the series The Killing (2007) and has since served as lead editor on feature films including Brotherhood (2010), ID:A (2011) and Boy (2011), as well as numerous documentaries, shorts and television series. She received a Robert Award nomination for best editing for ID:A.
