Biography
Bojan Bazelli, ASC is a Montenegrin cinematographer. Born on 15 August 1957 in Herceg Novi, he trained at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
He began his feature career shooting China Girl (1987) for Abel Ferrara, followed by King of New York (1990) and Body Snatchers (1993). His credits include The Ring (2002), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Hairspray (2007), The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010), The Lone Ranger (2013), A Cure for Wellness (2017), 6 Underground (2019) and Underwater (2020).
Bazelli received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for King of New York. Kalifornia (1993) won Best Cinematography at the Montreal World Film Festival. He has also been honoured at the AICP and received a Clio Award.
