Biography
Bonnie Bartlett Daniels is an American actress. She graduated from Northwestern University in 1951, where she met her future husband, actor William Daniels, and later studied with Lee Strasberg in New York.
Her early television work included a regular role as Vanessa Dale Raven on the daytime soap Love of Life (1955–1959). She played Grace Snider Edwards on Little House on the Prairie (1974–1977) and Ellen Craig on St. Elsewhere (1982–1988). For the latter, she won two consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (1986 and 1987); her husband won for his role as her on-screen spouse in the same series. She appeared in the 1988 film Twins and later in guest roles on series including Grey's Anatomy (2005) and Better Call Saul (2015).
Bartlett and Daniels married in 1951. They have two sons.
